Foundation of a contiguous park and binational program around the "El Pilar Archaeological Reserve for Maya Flora and Fauna" in Belize and Guatemala
The Be Pukte Cultural Center and Café in the Belizean village of Bullet Tree Falls
Support and training for local Maya forest community organization "Amigos de El Pilar" in Belize and Guatemala
Sponsorship of five international roundtable consensus-building workshops promoting local management of cultural and environmental resources
Publication of Trails of El Pilar available from Exploring Solutions Past: The Maya Forest Alliance
